We welcome corrections, questions and tips about U.S. immigration policy, deadlines and programs.
Corrections
If you have found an error — especially in a deadline, an effective date, a fee, a form edition or an eligibility requirement — please tell us. Include the article title and the specific detail you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one. Corrections are reviewed quickly, because an outdated registration window can cost a reader their eligibility.
Tips
If you know of a policy change, Federal Register notice, program designation or court decision we have not covered, send it along with a link to the official notice if you have one.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent news publication, not a law firm or a government agency. We cannot give legal advice, tell you whether you personally qualify for a benefit, prepare or file forms, check your case status, or contact an agency on your behalf.
For case status, use the official USCIS case status tool. For advice about your own situation, consult a licensed immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the Department of Justice. Free and low-cost legal help is available from many nonprofit organizations.
