Residents of certain states, including California under the CCPA and CPRA, have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. This page explains how that applies here.
Our position
RouteToAmerica does not sell your personal information for money. Under some state privacy laws, however, the terms “sale” and “sharing” are defined broadly enough to include the transfer of identifiers such as cookie IDs or device information to third-party advertising and analytics providers. Where such transfers occur through advertising or analytics on this site, they may fall within those definitions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Know what categories of personal information are collected and for what purpose
- Request access to the personal information held about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
How to opt out
You can limit or prevent this kind of data sharing by:
- Enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supporting browser or extension. We honor GPC signals where required by law.
- Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete third-party cookies.
- Using industry opt-out tools, such as those provided by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
- Contacting us directly through our contact page with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
Verification
For access, deletion, or correction requests, we may need to verify your identity before acting, and may ask for limited information for that purpose only. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to respond within the period required by applicable law.
